Who says all the Winter fun and games is only happening in Vancouver this February?

Canada's winter celebration happens every February in the Nations Capital. Come and enjoy Winterlude by skating on the World's longest skating rink,  discover top artisans and their incredible ice sculptures or partake in some of the best culinary experiences the capital has to offer.

And the best part, you can enjoy all the festivities in Ottawa while helping our Canadian athletes reach their Olympic dreams.

ARC The.Hotel has partnered with Canadian Athletes Now Fund to help raise money for our athletes. For every package sold $50.00 will go to CAN Fund plus you receive a CAN Fund tote bag and 2 beautiful CAN Fund scarves to keep you toasty warm.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

LEADING THE TEAM
The Ground Hog has confirmed it- we have 6 more weeks of winter!! We at the ARC invite you to come and enjoy the winter wonderland in Ottawa.  Skate on the Rideau Canal, enjoy a beavertail, take part in our winter carnival, and then relax by the fire in ARC Lounge with a martini or glass of wine.  Canada's must do winter activities are just minutes away from ARC The.Hotel, recently recognized by enRoute Magazine as the place to stay in Ottawa & highly recommended for dining.

ARC Lounge, under direction of Chef Jason Duffy, has recently launched a notable wine and cocktail menu on our new reservation system, Open Table. Chef Jason will also be launching a weekend table d'hote brunch menu, where he will be preparing dishes with flare using ingredients from local farmers!

Technology is hot, and constantly changing to meet your needs and make your stay memorable . Our concierge team has been working hard to create a mobile app for you - our guests.  You will have the ability to pre-check in, order room service, arrange for housekeeping services, book a spa treatment, make dinner reservations,  or see what the local shopping destinations are - all from the convenience of your smart phone! 'Yes, we have an app for that!'

Don't forget your loved one this Valentine's Day. Book our ARC of Love package and pamper your special someone with champagne, chocolates, flowers, spa treatments or a sumptuous dining experience.

WINTERLUDE IN THE CAPITAL
Every February, Canada's Capital Region is host to Winterlude, Canada's winter celebration. Three fun-filled weekends of excitement and activity await the whole family! From spectacular ice carvings to an amazing playground made of snow, Winterlude is a great way to take in the best of our Canadian winter.

Skate on the world's largest skating rink - right in the heart of Ottawa! Marvel at majestic snow and ice sculptures or enjoy spectacular shows under the winter sky. Our mascots, the Ice Hog Family, are waiting for you in Canada's Capital Region, from February 5 to 21, 2010.
TABLE TALK WITH OUR CHEF
It's that time of the year again. Winterlude is here and for Arc Lounge this means a fun "Taste of Winterlude" menu for our guests to enjoy! This year we took a different approach though, a five course tasting menu with each course featuring one of our famous local farmers. You will have a chance to sample Christophe's mushrooms, Barb's pork, Dan O'Brien's beef, Mariposa Farm duck and Ferme Floralpe's artisan goat cheese. So after your skate on the canal, stop by Arc Lounge to warm up and try our tasty creations!

Also, if you wish to romance your loved one with platefuls of creative aphrodisiac dishes, make a reservation at Arc Lounge for February 12, 13 or 14. We will be running our Valentine's table d'hôte for the entire weekend.

Meanwhile, if you are looking to try something a little different, here is the recipe for Heidi, fig and apple bread pudding taken from our taste of Winterlude menu. Enjoy! CLICK HERE
